I so admire the array of color combinations in decor! Beautiful neutral tones, black and white gorgeousness, white on white dreaminess, pastel loveliness, greige in all its wonderful shades, dark browns with crisp whites! All so very beautiful! I tried for a while to fall into one of these categories, but I couldn’t help but come back to bright pops of color! There’s something so fun about mixing different color and texture combinations that really appeals to me, so I thought I’d share with you how I brought color back into our home 😀
I love how this piece of art jumps off the wall! It brings so much warmth to this space that I wasn’t able to achieve prior to hanging this ❤️ All of the sudden the greenery came alive, my grandmother’s workbench table became more vibrant, and the apples bring in that extra punch of color 🍎
Having picked blue cabinetry should’ve been a dead giveaway to myself that I can’t live without color 😂 But you don’t need colored cabinets to add color! This super cool green tiered tray from Curtis Creation filled with vibrant veggies gives me all the feels and DEFINITELY adds color 😍
Hanging this oil painting, gifted to us by a family friend, brought such a dynamic vibe to kitchen! Art work in the kitchen is AWESOME! All of the colors depicted here just make my heart happy 😍
Putting color into the mix makes the smaller details pop!
I adore this painting. It speaks to me. It’s our family 😊 Big ol’ black bird and owl with four baby owls. The emerald tones are so soothing! Artwork is meant to feel powerful to YOU. It’s important to choose pieces that mean something to you and your family, and not to just appeal to the greater masses.
These apricot roses and vintage green book add the perfect amount of color to this space with our white bedding!
This was a blast to put together! I wanted to bring in some deeper tones for the fall and winter months.
This vintage quilt is dynamite! All of those colors make everything work together effortlessly!
Thank you all so much for stopping by! Lots of love to you my friends! xoxo lr
